Quran Programmes


The virtues and benefits of memorizing the Noble Qur’an are what prompt the Muslim to rush to this good and participate in it, so that he may be among the people of the Qur’an who are God’s people and his own.
And if the Noble Qur’an is the word of God Almighty, and to it is arbitration and judgment, and it is the reference in the case of dispute and disagreement among the nation of Muhammad - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - then what do you think of those who memorize it, care for it, and occupy their time with it?!
Here is a set of virtues and benefits that result from memorizing the Book of God Almighty, may the determination rise, and perhaps we will realize what is missing from the good of those who do not care about it:

1. Memorizing it is an imitation of the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - for he used to memorize it and perpetuate his recitation, and he presented it to Gabriel - peace be upon him - every year, and in the year in which he died, he presented it to him twice, and he - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - recited it to his companions - may God be pleased with him. May God bless them - and hear it from them.
2. In memorizing it, it is in imitation of the predecessors, and in keeping with their earnestness, for they used to memorize and study the Qur’an before all other sciences. Imam Ibn Abd al-Barr said: “Seeking knowledge is by degrees and transfers, and ranks that should not be transgressed, and whoever transgresses them altogether, he has transgressed the path of the predecessors - may God have mercy on them - so the first knowledge is to memorize and understand the Book of God - the Mighty and Sublime.”
The Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah says:
“As for the request to memorize the Qur’an, it takes precedence over many of what people call knowledge, and it is; It is either false, or of little benefit, and it is also presented to those who want to learn the science of religion from the origins and branches, the project in the right of such a person in these times, to start with memorizing the Qur’an, for it is the origin of the sciences of religion.”
3. Memorizing the Qur’an is one of the characteristics of this nation. Ibn al-Jazari says: “Reliance in the transmission of the Qur’an is on preserving hearts and chests, and this is an honorable characteristic of God Almighty for this nation.”
Memorizing the Qur’an is still a slogan for this nation, and a thorn in the throat of its enemies. One of the orientalists says: “Perhaps the Qur’an is the most read book in the world, and it is certainly the easiest to memorize.”
Another says:
Today we find - despite the wave of faith receding - thousands of people who are able to recite it by heart, and in Egypt alone there are more memorizers than the number of people who are able to recite the Gospels by heart in all of Europe.
4. It is easy for all people to memorize it. How many people with limited understanding and weak memorization saw who were able to memorize the Holy Qur’an, rather the non-Arabs who did not know Arabic memorized it, and the elderly memorized it, and this is one of the miracles of the Holy Qur’an. Al-Mawardi said: “The sixteenth aspect of Its miraculousness: making it easier on all tongues, until the mute non-Arab memorized it, and the Coptic tongue circulated with it, and he did not memorize other books like his memorization, and the mute tongues did not run with it.”

Al-Qurtubi said in the Almighty’s saying: “And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there anyone who will remember it” (Al-Qamar: 17), “that is: We made it easy for him to memorize, and we helped him who wanted to memorize it, so is there anyone who seeks it to memorize it?”
This strengthens the resolve, and raises the determination to memorize the Book of God Almighty.
5. Memorizing the Qur’an is a project that does not know failure, so when the one who wants to memorize it begins, then his resolve ends, and his activity weakens and he has memorized some of its parts, is his project considered a failure?
This effort was not in vain, but rather he did not memorize anything remembered, for the time he spent in reciting, memorizing and reviewing, time he spent in obedience to God - Blessed and Exalted be He - and how many verses and surahs he recited, and we know that a letter from the Book of God brings ten good deeds.
6. The memorizer of the Noble Qur’an deserves to be honored and revered, for it was narrated from Abu Musa: (Indeed, honoring the gray-haired Muslim, the bearer of the Qur’an who is not expensive and ignorant of him, and honoring the one with the just authority) is honoring the one with the just authority. Abu Dawud.
The one who has the word of God Almighty in his chest has the right to be honored and revered, and the memorizer of the Qur’an is the most deserving of people to lead in prayer, which is the second pillar of Islam; (Lead the people to the most recited of the Book of God) Muslim.
7. True bliss and praiseworthy envy are for the one who memorizes the Noble Qur’an and fulfills its right (there is no envy except in two cases: a man who was taught the Qur’an by God, and he recites it during the night and during the day, and a neighbor of his heard it, and said: I wish I had been given the same as you were given, so-and-so. as he does) The hadith was narrated by Al-Bukhari.

8. Memorizing the Qur’an and learning it is better than the pleasures of this world. When people rejoice in dirhams and dinars, and take them to their homes, the one who memorizes the Qur’an and recites it will achieve better than that and stay, so here he - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - addresses the people of character saying: (Which of you would like to become Every day to Bathan, or to al-Aqiq, so he brings two she-camels, humming, without sinning or cutting the womb?), They said: O Messenger of God, we love that. It is better for him than two she-camels, and three is better for him than three, and four are better for him than four, and their number of camels) Muslim.
And let us remember that camels were the most valuable wealth of the Arabs at that time.
9. In memorizing the Qur’an there is an elevation in this world and the hereafter and deliverance from the Fire (Indeed, God raises nations with this book, and places others through it) Muslim.
And when the believers enter Paradise, the one who has memorized the Qur’an is superior to others, and his rank is elevated. On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas: (It is said to the owner of the Qur’an: Recite, recite and recite, as you used to recite in this world, for your position is at the last verse you recited) Al-Tirmidhi. ; Because mere reading in calligraphy, people do not differ in it, and they do not differ; Few and many.”
10. Hafez al-Qur’an with the honorable travellers; (The example of the one who reads the Qur’an while he has memorized it, with the honorable and righteous travellers, and the example of the one who reads while he is accustomed to it while he is severe in it, has two rewards).
11. He who has memorized the Qur’an most often recites it, as he will not memorize it until he repeats it often, and his memorization is not proven except by continuous review, and we know that in reciting the letter from the Book of God there are ten good deeds.
12. The memorizer of the Noble Qur’an can recite it in all seasons
